About
The Sheffield Medics’ RUFC is a friendly welcoming rugby club with over 55 years of heritage. Founded by medical students, the club welcomes all abilites and university students on any course.
Training takes place every Tuesday evening, with fitness sessions held every Monday and captain’s runs every Friday evening before a match. Games are played on Saturdays to accommodate medics’ other commitments.
1st XV play in Yorkshire 3, 2nd XV play in Yorkshire RFU Southern Championship and 3rd XV play in Yorkshire RFU Southern Merit Table. We also hold weekly post-game socials at the Student Union’s best night out, PopTarts!
