Sexpression Sheffield

We are the Sheffield branch of Sexpression:UK, a student-led charity that empowers young people to make decisions about sex and relationships by running informal, inclusive and comprehensive SRE in the community. We primarily teach in secondary schools, about topics from consent to STIs to gender and sexuality. You can volunteer as much or as little as you’d like, and always with a more experienced volunteer until you’re comfortable to take others under your wing! We also run campaigns and socials which this year will include talks and debates as well as our post-training social to Pop Tarts! Teaching SRE is really great fun, builds public speaking and communication skills and is such rewarding work as well. Plus, once you can talk to a group of 12 year olds about how to put on a condom correctly, you’ll probably never be embarrassed by anything a patient comes out with.
